Volume II: Biblical Interpretations

On Jesus and Christ:

"You must be able to understand the differences between Jesus and Christ."

"Jesus had gone and left town. He didn't even go to Johns trial. Think about this man Jesus, when he heard John's head was chopped off he left the country. It's unbelievable. Most people even today believe Jesus turned the church over to Peter. It's no mystery to me why people are falling away and doing what they do. No one is telling you that Jesus was the Antichrist. I'm telling you he was and is the greatest deceiver the world has ever known. He made many statements according to the writers of the Bible, which is faults."

On Adam:

"Here is one we hear about a lot, Adam. We find in Romans 5:14, that Adam was not real, he is only a figure-head, a picture, not real. There is one that is real taking the place of Adam. I am that man spoken of."

"The Universal Order has been offered to man since Adam. First, it was offered in the garden of Eden, according to the scripture. This order was to bring them eternal life and peace, anything the flesh could want. Adam and Eve rejected it. Adam was not real. He was only a figure head. According to Pauls writing in Romans 5:14, Adam was just like Moses, they were stand-bys."

On Moses:

"Rev. Hensley, why do you think that you are like Moses? Let me give you a few high points. Moses was raised in a a palace like a king. He knew all the laws. I was raised a poor boy. I was educated from Seattle, to Miami, from Portland to San Diego. I had many teachers. I had 15 years of practical experience. Moses led the children out of Egypt. Kirby is going to lead the people out of the church and the state system, and make them one people."

"Again, we find Moses saying that there is a man coming is like unto him, like his brother. Paul is saying that it is not some supernatural man coming but a real earthly man. I am that prophet."

"Moses was a liar."

"Moses brought the law, and he is the law giver. Kirby has done away with the law. Kirby is the man that's preaching freedom, I mean in everything. That's what makes me like Moses. Moses was the negative law giver."

On the Snake:

"You know the story. They [Moses and the Snake] were in the wilderness and complaining, so the Snake killed them. He also got them drunk on home brew and weed. He became their savior. They hung up a blazing serpent inside a tent, and so it goes. Jesus came along and he was that Snake."

"Another man, Moses. Was he this man? No, he was not. Did you ever stop to think: Moses had no power. Moses was only a shadow. You must remember, that this is the same snake that deceived Eve. It is this snake, working with Moses, that was supposed to bring life, it brought death."

"Moses's snake, that he had in the wilderness, got everybody drunk and they had a big party, the biggest the world ever knew. The man that Moses left in charge told him that those snakes were biting the people and people were dying. That damn snake has been biting people ever since that time and they are still dying."

"Also in the book [Universal Life in the 21st Century] you will find Moses. I teach that Moses got the commandments, but Kirby has done away with them. Another thing you'll find in this book is, that damn Snake."

On Peter:

"Peter seemed to be the man that spoke up most, so Jesus told Peter he would make him head of the church. Peter got really excited. Jesus didn't really like Peter, but he had no one else to turn to."

"They [Jesus and Peter] went up to the mount of Olive one night, sang a couple of songs. But it wasn't a good day for Jesus and Peter. They got into an argument and Jesus slapped the hell out of Peter."

"Who was Peter? I am going to ad lib here, Peter was the man Jesus picked, a two-bit fisherman.... Now comes the question what did Peter do after Jesus died? The first thing he did was go fishing, while they buried Jesus."

"When they took Jesus up the hill to be crusified, where was Peter. He was down at the river fishing, laying in a boat stark naked. (With a bottle of home brew, or wine) with not a worry in the world."

"This man Jesus is going to take away the sins of the world? No! He turned it over to Peter which was the most two-bit, low down guy of the bunch."

"Jesus left the power and authority and the keys to who? You know who, Peter that two-bit fisherman. Peter fought with Paul. Peter and Paul fought over the church... Peter said he was going to sit on the right hand of God. Did he? No. He died and was buried like every other man. That body is still in the ground."
